Privacy Policy

UNISAINC complies with all requirements established under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). This act protects the privacy of your student loan records from the general public and allows you the right to inspect and review the information maintained on your loan(s). In accordance with this act, information about your loan may only be shared with school officials that have a legitimate interest, other school to which you transfer to, persons authorized by yourself or in compliance with a court order. The physical safeguard of access to your personal and confidential information is maintained in compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. This act requires that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect access to all electronic and hard copy information about you and your loan.

Security Policy

As part of our effort to protect your personal information, including your credit card information, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means, if your browser supports SSL (most do), your personal information will automatically be encrypted before being sent over the Internet.

UNISAINC has also obtained a digital certificate from Starfield Secure Certification Authority, a leading provider of Internet security services. When you enter a secure area of our site, a closed lock symbol or solid key should appear in the window's bottom bar or next to the url address bar. Refund Policy

All transactions posted through our website are final. UNISAINC is a loan services provider and agent of the school who originates loans to student borrowers. Any student request for a refund associated with any school loan shall be handled directly with the financial services department for the school in question. If the school where the loan was originated determines that a refund is to be issued your refund will be credited to the credit card charged for the original purchase.
